How to reach the Venue

Conveniently located in the city center of Goudi, the Library of Health Sciences is easily accessible using public transportation from the venue of the IFLA Conference, the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre.

Travelling from the Megaron Athens International Conference Center to the Library of Health Sciences

Directions: Leaving the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre, you have to cross Vasilissis Sofia Av. Walk for about 300 metres to your right until you reach Alexandra Hospital. At the bus stop there take number A5 bus.  Get off at Galaxias stop. Walk straight ahead and take the third turning on your right to Agiou Thoma str. Then, cross the Michalakopoulou street and keep walking straight to Agiou Thoma str. You will reach Agios Thomas square where you turn left (Mikras Asias str.). Take the first turning on your right, the Library is on your left hand side.

Weather in August

August in Athens is a warm month with the expected temperatures to be in the range of 27 to 31 °C.  A jacket might be handy during the evening.

As in Greece the power sockets are type C and F with a voltage of 230 V/50Hz, a plug adapter might be needed.
